  • Payment Information: When you subscribe, payment details (credit card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
  • AI Generator Inputs: When you use the AI Idea Generator, the prompts and preferences you enter are sent to our server to generate results.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect data about how you interact with IdeaIndex, including pages viewed, features used, favorites saved, and ideas generated.
  • Device Information: We may collect browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
  • Log Data: Our servers automatically record information such as your IP address, access times, and referring URLs.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with security rules that restrict access to authenticated users. Each user can only read and write their own profile data. Content collections (ideas, trends, case studies, marketing tactics) are read-only for authenticated users.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Google OAuth, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account data remains accessible until you request deletion. AI Idea Generator inputs are not permanently stored after your session ends. Payment records are retained as required by law and Stripe's data retention policies.
